Generations in the Field
TimberRidge Group was built on generations of hard work, resilience, and an unwavering respect for the land. What began in forestry, lumbering, and resource development has evolved through entrepreneurial vision and an uncompromising work ethic into a diversified industrial services company proudly serving Northern Ontario. Today, we deliver integrated aggregate supply, construction, and haulage solutions that keep our region's industries and communities moving.
TimberRidge Group's roots run from the bush to full-scale industrial services across Northern Ontario. Before TRG was supplying aggregate to mine sites or running heavy-haul schedules, its founders were in the forest, felling timber and moving material, and that discipline still shapes how every crew is trained and every project is run. Forestry led to resource development, which grew into aggregate supply, construction services, and a haulage operation built for Northern Ontario's roads, distances, and seasons, an evolution driven by client need rather than a whiteboard.
In a sector that doesn't forgive contractors who over-promise, TRG built its reputation by being conservative with commitments and aggressive about execution, the standard by which every job is still measured.
Through a community benefit agreement with Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, its aggregate operations are structured to deliver lasting economic benefit to Indigenous communities, not as a compliance exercise, but out of a belief that industrial development done right means building alongside the people whose home this land is.
Leadership
No Career Consultants
TimberRidge Group is led by a team that came up through the resource and construction industries in Northern Ontario. Collectively, TRG's leadership carries decades of direct field experience across aggregate operations, mine site construction, heavy equipment, and haulage management. There are no career consultants in this group. The people running TRG have worn the gear, managed the crews, and carried the project accountability that they now bring to every client engagement. That background is not background - it is the operating foundation of the company.

How We Work

Our people are in the field. Project decisions at TRG don't run through layers of management before they reach someone who understands the site conditions. The people managing your job have worked in the environment where your job is happening. That means faster decisions, better judgment, and a crew that doesn't need to be caught up when conditions change.

We operate as a single-source provider for aggregate supply, construction, and haulage - and we mean that functionally, not just as a sales line. When all three services run under one team, there is no gap to fall into between your material supplier and your build crew, or between your build crew and your haul contractor. Problems get solved inside TRG before they become problems for you.

Schedule and specification discipline are central to how TRG operates. Industrial projects, particularly in mining, often involve tight timelines and precise material requirements. We plan around the project specifications, work toward the agreed schedule and communicate early when changing conditions may affect delivery.

Our goal is to be the contractor a project manager calls first for the next job. That doesn't happen by hitting the spec once. It happens by being the kind of company that is genuinely easy to work with over a long relationship - one that shows up prepared, communicates honestly, and doesn't make your job harder.
Community & Indigenous Partnership
TRG's aggregate operations in Northern Ontario are conducted under a community benefit agreement with Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, an Anishinaabe First Nation whose traditional territory spans the region where TRG operates. That agreement creates direct, structured economic participation for the community in TRG's aggregate business - in employment, contracting, and long-term revenue sharing. It was not designed to meet a regulatory threshold. It was designed to reflect a meaningful partnership with a community that has a direct and legitimate stake in responsible resource development in Northern Ontario.

Northern Ontario's natural resources - the rock, the aggregate, the timber - are not a commodity to be extracted without regard for what remains. We operate with a long-term orientation because we live and work here. The communities we work alongside, including Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, are not project stakeholders to be managed. They are partners in how this region develops, and TRG takes that seriously on every site.
